In the space
between projects,
disciplines and ideas

I turn ideas into projects, giving them form, structure and expression.

I am Francesca Brunello, though I have always been called FRA.
A nickname, a short and informal form that over time has become something more.
In Italian, “fra” also means “between”.
And it is precisely in this in-between space that I recognise a position that belongs to me.
Between those who create and those who receive.
Between thought and form.
Between the idea and the context that makes it legible.
A crossroads where what is still undefined can find structure and direction. It is within this tension that I enter into projects.
I observe, deconstruct and reconstruct ideas and languages until they become coherent with the context to which they belong.
For me, to design means to bring clarity, direction and meaning.
FRA is therefore both a name and a place: a space where art, design and contemporary communication meet, interact and transform into something recognisable.
